The small daypack of the Jääkäri family. Lot of user experiences and wishes have been listened when designing the product.

Every detail has been carefully considered and tested. Despite its small size, the Minijääkäri is a truly versatile daypack, whether the destination of the trip is in the urban jungle, or in the middle of the darkest wilderness. In addition to the pockets available in the Minijääkäri's "molle" webbing, modularity is brought about by many separately sold accessories: Loose straps, chest straps, waist belts, additional pads, back supports, etc. accessories, which further improve the Minijääkäri's usability.

A Minijääkäri is not just a small backpack, but a tool for its user. Thanks to its handy size, the Minijääkäri offers unhindered movement in cramped spaces and is great for cycling, running, skiing and hunting. If the grams aren’t scary, you can use the Minijääkäri for any extreme sport. With the backpack's compression straps you can strap your loads down to a tight package. Minijääkäri is also excellent as a hand luggage for a flight.

Compartments

The Minijääkäri backpack is designed to be slim but spacious to accommodate the equipment needed for a day trip. The backpack bag is closed with a folding lid that allows overpacking. In a normal package, the mouth of the backpack is folded about 10cm with the lid, which prevents the load from jumping out of the Minijääkäri and the fold also becomes quite waterproof. The folding mouth and the fair length of the straps allows for plenty of overpacking. The volume of the Minijääkäri backpack adapts between 20-25 liters.

Inside the lid is a zippered pocket for valuables and small items (dimensions 15 x 25 cm). Opening the backpack and digging the items is helped by a stiffener which keeps the Minijääkäri's mouth open.

Inside the backpack is a pocket (dimensions 25 x 37cm) for a hydration reservoir or accessories to be kept separate. This pocket can hold for example 13.3 ”laptop, or smaller pads and flaps. The mouth of the pocket has a rubber band that prevents movement in the backpack. There is a loop at the top of the pocket for firmly hanging hydration reservoir or something else. On both sides of the backpack, under the flap is outlets for the hose of the reservoir, cables or for antennas.

With the compression straps on the sides of the backpack, the backpack can also be tightened tightly with insufficient packaging. Of course, these straps can also be used to tie long items.

PALS attachment webbing

A Jääkäri would not be a Jääkäri without the modularity brought by the PALS attachment webbing, or more familiarly “MOLLE”. PALS / MOLLE is a attachment system that is used by the military in almost every country. This attachment system has been created for a need that requires absolute modularity and durability.

MOLLE stands for: Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment. PALS stands for: Pouch Attachment Ladder System.

By applying this technique, the Jääkäri backpack has been created as a top modular entirety. Molle can be found on the front, sides, flap of the Jääkäri and even on the carrying staps and on the waist belt. With Molle, you can attach any PALS-compatible pouch to almost anywhere you want. With the help of suitable pouches, the Miniääkäri backpack can be expanded into a compact anatomical backpack.

In addition to the modular attachment option, the mole webbing strengthens and supports the backpack. One loop of molle can withstand a pull of more than 100 kg

Other attachment points:

The fastening straps are long and run from the front and bottom of the entire backpack. If necessary, the 25mm strap dives nicely along the molle webbing and can be lifted to the surface from where you want. This allows the item to be securely tied to the front of the backpack without extra loose straps. The bottom of the backpack has four strap guide loops through which the straps run and allow the equipment to be tied to the bottom of the backpack as well.

At the front of the Minijääkäri is a Velcro sticker (size: 5x13cm) for a name tag, flag or any tag selected by the user.

It is also possible to use the side tighning straps of the backpack when attaching items that would not otherwise fit in the backpack. The tighning straps are measured long enough so that they extend over the backpack, if necessary, to the opposite attachment.

Carrying

The thin and comfortably 40mm wide shoulder straps are sturdy but do not on the way of movement. The straps are equipped with molle webbing to which you can attach small accessories, a chest strap, or even a reservoir hose. At the end of the straps molle webbing is a hanging loops. The Minijääkäri can be easily carried in the hand by the carrying handle.

The Minijääkäri's carrying system can be freely adjusted by the user with separately sold chest straps, waist belts, additional pads and back supports to be installed in the hydration reservoir pocket.
